Togar White, CPIM, CMC

Togar White is an Associate Consultant with Process Partners, LLC, with over 25 years experience in supply chain consulting and project management.

Togar White specializes in the areas of supply chain management, operations improvement, project management, and SCM systems for Process Partners, LLC. For over twenty-five years he has provided consulting assistance to clients in the areas of apparel manufacturing, textile manufacturing, carpet manufacturing, telecommunications, food and beverage processing and distribution, and higher education. His consulting experience includes assignments in Europe, Canada and the USA with clients that range in size from $20 million in revenue to Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining Process Partners, Togar was a partner with The Context Group, a senior level consulting firm based in Atlanta. His focus is on increasing client profitability through the application of process change and the application of information technology to reduce cycle times and costs. He has in-depth experience in customer service and order processing, manufacturing planning and scheduling, manufacturing reporting and tracking, inventory management, distribution operations, purchasing, and business planning and strategy.

Examples of Togar's project experience include the following:

Managed a business process improvement project for a Fortune 500 carpet manufacturer. Scope of project covered all major operations and functions for a selected business unit. Facilitated cross functional client and consulting teams in identifying the current or "as is" state of business processes and then developed the desired or "to be" business processes.

Developed a supply chain management strategic plan for a specialty textile manufacturer. Evaluated current internal procedures and interaction with direct vendors and customers. Identified process improvement opportunities in various functional areas. Prepared a prioritized, time-phased plan that addressed cost, value, and approach for implementation of the recommended improvements.

Developed strategic plan for the information services department of an engineering firm. Resolved conflicts in the use and direction of personal and mainframe computers. Addressed department organization and prioritization of application development.

Re-engineered and implemented a customer service system for a major apparel manufacturer. Scope of the project included product specifications, customer specifications, order entry and maintenance, and preparation of instructions for manufacturing and distribution processing.

Conducted management study for major carpet manufacturer that resulted in the streamlining and centralization of distribution operations.

Mr. White received a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology and an M.B.A. degree from Louisiana State University. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) with certification in Production and Inventory Management, and Integrated Resource Management
