Rick Freeman, CGEIT, CISA, CISM
As a Associate Consultant with Process Partners, Rick Freeman has extensive experience and expertise in a wide range of information technology (IT) engagements, including private industry and consulting roles.
Rick Freeman has over 25 years of industry and consulting experience, including senior operations and information technology management positions including 7 years with BDO Seidman, LLP as a Senior IT consultant to professional services and distribution companies. Rick has experience in the areas of information systems management, network platform management, package software evaluation and implementation, information technology general controls assessment, and enterprise-wide business process improvement.
During his consulting career Rick has provided multi-engagement project management oversight, including responsibility for service delivery. Clients included major corporations with multiple domestic and foreign operations. All of Rick’s engagements required in-depth skills and experience in supply chain processes, information technology processes and controls, and organizational change.
Prior to joining Process Partners, Rick was the Chief Information Officer for a major Atlanta based distributor with seven regional branches and multiple warehouses across the southeast.
As the CIO he was responsible for enterprise wide process improvement, the management of the corporate information systems staff, technical infrastructure, systems security, software evaluation, and selection, employee training, budgets, and custom developed applications. He oversaw the design, development and implementation of major system modifications.
Rick Freeman has a BS Degree in Architectural Engineering, CGEIT, CISA and CISM certifications and is a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and SIM (Society of Information Managers).
