Ed DePrimo
Ed DePrimo, MIS, is a Strategic Resource and member of the Advisory Board of Process Partners for IT Governance. Ed has over 25 years of IT management experience in a variety of industries and corporate environments. He brings this rich background to each engagement focusing IT initiatives on business value and quality program execution. Ed is a results oriented member of the Process Partners team with special background in IT Governance, Mergers and Acquisition Integration, and large scale Program Management.
Ed started his IT career in technical support and system administration and held various technical positions prior to moving into IT management roles. He has held senior IT management positions with both privately and publicly owned companies. Ed has a proven track record working with all levels of business management to identify, scope, prioritize, and delivery value from IT initiatives.
Ed implemented an IT Governance program at a large high tech company that realigned IT resources to delivery quantifiable cost reductions across business functions as diverse as Trade Compliance, Engineering Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT Operations.
Ed was responsible for the successful integration of more than 17 acquired companies in industries as varied as Specialty Chemicals, Wholesale Distribution, Process and Discrete Manufacturing, and High Tech Engineering.
Ed has also successfully delivered large scale IT Programs including the implementation of global ERP systems, ERP upgrades, MRP systems, Sales Force Automation and CRM systems, Manufacturing and Quality systems, Engineering Product Development systems, and various large scale custom development enhancements to enterprise applications.
Ed holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of New York and a Masters in Information Systems degree from Boston University.
