Charles R. Bennett, CPA, CGEIT
Charles Bennett, CEO founded Process Partners, LLC as a strategic consulting partner for national, regional and local CPA firms to provide technology and process consulting services, complementary to their traditional financial services. Charles has over 35 years experience across a wide range of organizations in the areas of IT strategic planning, enterprise risk management, IT governance, risk and control, supply chain risk assessment, ERP evaluation & utilization, and process and control optimization.
Prior to founding Process Partners, Charles was with BDO Seidman, LLP for 10 years as the SE Partner in Charge, and 8 years with Dixon, Odom (Dixon Hughes) as the Managing Partner, Management Advisory Services. Internationally, Charles has assisted clients in Canada, Guatemala, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Jordan and the United Kingdom.
Prior to his career in public accounting and consulting Charles held management positions in defense, textile and apparel manufacturing companies. His background encompasses roles as Financial Reporting Director for an SEC listed corporation, Controller, IT Director, and Senior Industrial Engineer.
Charles holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a CPA certified in both North Carolina and Georgia, and has his CGEIT (Certification in Governance of Enterprise IT).
Charles has his Six Sigma Green Belt. He is also a member of the North Carolina Association of CPA,s, ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), IIA, (Institute of Internal Auditors), ACG (Association for Corporate Growth), and the CFO Roundtable.
